William Lane Craig’s latest illustrated argument for God’s existence takes up the ontological argument. This is quite a controversial argument, and many theists ignore it. I must admit, I don’t use it myself. It’s not because I don’t think it’s sound, but because it is so philosophically esoteric for most people to grasp, and because it is so nuanced. Nevertheless, WLC has done a nice job helping people to better understand the argument through illustration.

With due respect to Prof. Krauss, a significant interest as afforded by the subject of this blog extends to Dr. Craig’s theistic views. These are part & parcel of those videos which are in fact already posted by the copyright holder to the public domain on Youtube. If those are not to be openly shared in a public forum such as this site indeed subjected to restrictions or censorship to any degree or in any fashion for any reason then there’d be null point in City Bible Forum some 3 years ago and continuing to the present deciding to place them on Youtube to receive extensive viewing. If it’s determined by the authority having jurisdiction that Dr. Craig’s views in these videos may not be presented for public viewing on this site then the loss will be actualized and so will Prof. Krauss’ request.

The point was made that ONLY the Bible Forum (by its “members” presumably) is allowed to upload videos for extensive viewing. Not that they do not want extensive viewing but the extensive viewing must be at their pleasure and nobody else’s to upload; that is what copyright infringement is.

David Wood (Ph.D) presents an excellent case for the historicity of Christ’s resurrection from the dead. And these are just a few pieces of evidences – volumes of scholarship have been done on the resurrection! The empty tomb is also very well attested even by the enemies of the disciples. If the disciples stole the body (as the ancient Jews held to) then this would never result in the conversion of Paul (an enemy of the church) and James (the skeptic unbelieving brother of Jesus). And why would the disciples knowingly suffer and die for something they know is a lie? This idea simply cannot account for all the facts.
Christianity would have DIED in the 1st century hadn’t Jesus rose from the dead!
