England’s Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs has asked the media not to report on the findings of a government study related to diapers. Apparently England has been pushing parents to use reusable diapers rather than disposable ones, to lessen their “carbon footprint” in the fight against global warming. But the report found that the carbon footprint from disposable diapers is less than reusable diapers. You would think that those who claim to be responding to the evidence of global warming would respond to this evidence as well, and tell people to use disposable diapers. You would be wrong. When the evidence is against you, I guess the appropriate response is to be against the evidence.

Secularists have their own form of religion. It has all the same fields and theories, including eschatology. Global warming is a secular religious belief.
Scientifically, there is far greater threat to humanity from global cooling, in particular that caused by supervolcanoes like the one beneath Yellowstone. It’s overdue to explode, and it would nearly end life on earth. The problem is that you cannot explain the volcanic eruptions on human action, so there’s no “sin” and no “repentance” and no other elements necessary to connect the end of the world to humanity’s imperfection.

I don’t know anything about the supervolcanoes beneath Yellowstone, but I am with you on the global warming issue, and the notion that secularists have their own form of religion.
