Some scary news on the cultural front. A Baptist preacher was arrested in the UK for telling a woman homosexuality was a sin. He is charged with abusive and insulting language. It won’t be long before this will be commonplace, me thinks. Scary!

It’s starting to occur too frequently in the UK at the moment. These are also fairly recent rulings that show how fundamental christians are being barred from certain careers. There is also this one:

Interesting enough on NPR I heard someone say that a law is about to be struck down that has been on the books in France since the 1700’s. The law made it a crime for women to wear trousers in public. The commentator said, “So women if you want to dress like a man it is ok to do so in Paris, France.” We need to lift up our voices against sin and preach the remedy of sin, Jesus Christ.

Hence, the U.K. is a corporatist, welfare nanny-state which sees rights as nothing more than privileges by the State.
This is why we here in America need to stand up and fight for ALL of our rights – because once the government steals them, it’s unlikely that we’ll ever get them back.
