This is a sad commentary on our times. A man bludgeons another man with a hammer, while 10 bystanders do nothing. This is nothing short of shameful and inhuman.

I did hear about this, and even began to read the Fox article you linked to. I stopped part-way through. I just read the whole thing. It was even more brutal than I thought. My stomach is in knots right now.

The folly is believing that people around you — or more ridiculous, the police — will protect you. These crimes occur because the criminals know that the people on the train are unarmed. If they had weaponry, these crimes wouldn’t happen.
God bless Bernie Goetz.

Shameful indeed. Inhuman, I would say not. Sinful man is capable of anything.
Hard to imagine some peoples thinking in that situation.

Hey Jason this is a new subject, but what do you think of the oneness pentecostal article on azusaremixeddotcom.wordpress.com

Are you referring to Nick Norelli’s post? If so, Nick is wrong when he says Oneness Pentecostals would affirm “everything” he said in his first paragraph. We would not say the baptism of the Spirit is subsequent to salvation.
Other than that, I’m not sure I understand where he is going with the rest of the post. I agree we should be able to get along with others, including Trinitarians. But as Nick points out, there are real differences between Trinitarianism and Oneness theology, and they are important.

Darren,
That’s true. But it’s still inhuman by the standards of any decent sinner!

He believes we serve a different God, a different Jesus and receive a different spirit than he does. I am sure that is where he is going with it.
P.S. I want to get some of my people reading a book on Oneness Theology. Is there any good systematic oneness books? And please do not say Bernard’s “the Oneness of God.” I am still waiting for you to come out with a Oneness book, but maybe you can point me to something sufficient while I wait on yours.

No, there is no good systematic book on Oneness theology. Bernard’s comes closest. Mine is in the making. It’s scheduled to be released in 2020. 🙂
