“The person who can’t or won’t discern good from evil is destined to be a victim of those who are adept at disguising one as the other. Thus, abstaining from moral judgments is not a hallmark of nice people, but of foolish ones. And the person who makes judgments while insisting that he doesn’t or shouldn’t is naïve, if not hypocritical.” – Regis Nicoll, “Speak No Evil,” Salvo, Issue 25, Summer 2013, p. 14.

What in the world is a moral judgement if not the condemnation of someone else’s behaviour that the self righteous heap upon those they are offended by?

Not necessarily the self-righteous. If you refuse to make any moral judgement, you will end up in anarchism where each can do as they please with no law and justice.
Your concern (if you really want one) would be to ask the following two questions:
1. Do absolute moral values exist?
2. How can we recognise them if they do.. or
3. How do you live if they don’t?
