Here’s a thought for all of you anti-wallers out there. Why are you opposed to obeying our nation’s laws? Why do you approve of those who break our laws while castigating those who think they should be obeyed? And what’s wrong with building a wall? If people would obey our immigration laws, a wall would not be needed. After all, no one is suggesting a wall on the northern border because it isn’t needed there. The Canadians respect our immigration laws. But on the southern border, they don’t respect our laws, hence, the need for a wall.
When it boils down to it, anti-wallers are pro open borders, where anyone and everyone can come to this country whenever they want. That may sound nice, but it’s not workable. It would become impossible to maintain our nation’s identity and culture if we could not limit how many people come in annually. It would also put too much strain on our nation’s resources.
But if you still want open borders, great. I only ask that instead of experimenting with our nation, you first experiment with your own home. Make it an open borders house – a place that anyone and everyone can come live at without asking first. Tell me how that goes, and then we’ll see if you’re still want open borders for our nation.

I like the analogy, and I’ll take it one step further. Open your home to whomever whishes to come in, and give them access to all of your resources, free of charge. Let them help themselves to the fridge, the medicine cabinet, etc. Put them on the bus to go to school with your children. Give them an allowance (a donation, not a loan) for additional living expenses. See how that works out.

We have the experiments of Walls amply substantiated by the historical record. The Great Wall of China was built to protect against invasion and to protect the Silk Road Trade both of which fell to wars and eventually open borders.
To talk about countries building border walls and comparing it to your own home is too simplistic a view and misses the more important points about closed societies: war, invasion, defense and death. This model fell as the Wall and the Silk Road were eventually opened to other countries which caused trade and travel and economies to flourish and in a nutshell happened this way:
Around the same time as the Great Wall construction during the Han dynasty, the previously closed trade route within China and Central Asia created conflict by its closure therefore Zhan Qian opened the Silk Road route to trade with other countries such as India, Persia, Greece and Rome. Routes were extended and trade flourished during the remainder of the Han dynasty. Wars with the Huns were fought along the Silk Road to gain control and keep the trade route open during the Han dynasty. After the Mongols gained power in 1271, the ruler Kublai Khan destroyed most of the toll gates and allowed for easier travel.
The next experiment was the Berlin Wall which purpose was to keep people in and keep people out. President Reagan’s historic words ring true for today’s modernity to keep in mind. Reagan at Brandenburg Gate in West Berlin, Germany. June 12, 1987. “Mr. Gorbachev tear down this wall.”
During the early years of the Cold War, West Berlin was a geographical loophole through which thousands of East Germans fled to the democratic West. In response, the Communist East German authorities built a wall that totally encircled West Berlin. It was thrown up overnight, on 13 August 1961. For the next 28 years, the heavily fortified Berlin Wall stood as the most tangible symbol of the Cold War–a literal “iron curtain” dividing Europe. … For East Germans dissatisfied with life under the communist system, West Berlin was a gateway to the democratic West.
This is not dissimilar to Mexico with a low economy for 129 million people wanting to improve their circumstances and I hasten to add that most Mexicans in the USA came quite legally via the visitor Visa and subsequently stayed past their Visa depart date so the Wall or absence of a Wall had no bearing as a deterrent. Talking about the criminals and the rapists and drug lords are also red herrings because most of them also came legally on visitor Visas.
Consider these stats crossing over borderless land and over staying Visas: For fiscal year 2015, DHS reports that the number of new visa overstays (not counting late departures) was 527,127.
The number of immigrants that cross the border illegally each year are not directly countable, and are estimated from the number who are caught trying. For FY 2015, DHS reported 337,117 apprehensions. Using an estimated catch rate of 33%, the number crossing without detection would be 674,000 per year (2 successful entries for each 1 apprehended). But even this 33% model(the Placebo percentage model) is purely speculative and could indeed be much, much lower. BUT consider this as well……For FY 2015, DHS conducted a total of 462,463 removals and returns. For the same time period, ICE removed or returned 235,413 individuals for a total of 697,876 and let’s use our speculation model; then, the number sent back of the unapprehended speculative number 674,000 could mean that all the land crosses were sent back plus a further 23,876 who overstayed their Visas.
We assume this model because we assume most Visa entrants were visiting family while most of the land crosses were not visiting family. Therefore land entrants had no resources to depend on when they did cross while the family member could more easily avoid detection because of family support.
Now my support would be for the billions expected to be spent on a Wall be redirected into the hiring of thousands of more Immigration workers to process the applications for immigrants to speed up while creating employment in the USA at the same time. That is a more common sense approach.

Forget about Bible prophecies. I was proposing how existing RFID technology could be utilized as a positive ID system for Americans and would encourage the illegals to become legal.The next part of my comments regarding cashless transactions is on the verge of happening around the world. Sweden is soon to become the first cashless society in the world. This might be a cheaper solution than a wall. It would also discourage drug trafficking since their transactions could be tracked.

SonofMan, it’s common sense that as a sovereign nation we control who comes into our country and when. And since Mexicans do not respect our laws in this regard, we have to build a wall. Will a wall fix everything? Of course not. I never claimed it would. But it will fix part of the problem. There’s a difference between reforming our immigration policy and open borders. One could argue for the former, but the latter is just absurd.

Please explain to me how a Wall is going to stop the majority of Immigrants from acquiring a Visitor Visa, enter the USA and then to stay beyond the date of their departure? A wall is as useless as a hinge on a gate when all you need to do is fly over the gate which is how the majority of migrants come to the country and remain in the country as undocumented immigrants. The majority do not cross over the land to enter the country, can’t you see that? Or don’t you want to? So a Wall is as useless as the rhetoric that clamours all the live long day about a non existent problem. MY born again brother says that Trump is God’s secret weapon; he is as delusional as the rest of Christendom. Common sense trumps belief every single time. Belief is an illusion for diversion and a distraction that will never accomplish anything of value for humanity. Belief is without virtue, a dark, dismal, doorway to dormancy.
The only logical conclusion must be to “speed up the queue”, so applicants don’t have to stand in a slow motion line for 2, 3, 5 or more years for the government to refocus on the real problems, while the immigrant families go hungry from lack of economical vitality in their own country and the lack of a resolution in this country.
Immigrants being the backbone of the country; well, let them in, to perform, instead of obstructing with the red tape of bureaucracy that leaves people holding on the phone for hours because the slothful don’t have enough employees to answer the telephones and then apologize with the hackneyed voice recording: Oh gee whiz, “we are experiencing a higher than usual volume of calls”………some excuse!
Give me a break, stop building walls and jails that diminish the human spirit. The Wall will fix nothing, will not even fix part of the problem. It will be a complete waste of time, money and resources and the problem will remain just as it is now.
You can put a million Christians along the border and pray 24/7 for the next 4 years and that will be as effective as building a Wall and anybody can see how useless that would be.

USAID, as part of its $770 million Cairo Sewerage Program, allocated $2.3 million for lowering the groundwater at the mosque area, replacing the old sewage collector, and providing a healthier environment for people living in the area.
The Washington times reported on other mosques in August 2010 and emphasized how we are paying for “Muslim triumphalism”[.]

Americans also may be surprised to learn that the United States has been an active participant in mosque construction projects overseas. In April, U.S. Ambassador to Tanzania Alfonso E. Lenhardt helped cut the ribbon at the 12th-century Kizimkazi Mosque, which was refurbished with assistance from the United States under a program to preserve culturally significant buildings. The U.S. government also helped save the Amr Ebn El Aas Mosque in Cairo, which dates back to 642. water and sanitation facilities. USAID efforts also at times include the preservation, restoration, or refurbishment of structures that have a social, cultural, or historical importance in the areas where they are located.
The WSB report mentions a “1,300-year-old Egyptian mosque that was almost flooded by contaminated sewer water that is one of many ancient Cairo mosques and churches that were saved from destruction by the U.S. taxpayers.” It is true that USAID provided about $2.3 million to help protect the Saleh Talai Mosque in Cairo from rising groundwater contaminated with sewage that had been plaguing the site for decades, making the area safe for tourists and religious visitors. However, that mosque wasn’t specifically targeted for preservation due to its religious significance; its restoration was part of a much larger program to revamp flood control and sewage systems throughout Cairo, a project which ran from 1984 to 2006 and encompassed the preservation of many different threatened historical structures, including an ancient Roman Tower, a Greek Orthodox Church, and the Amr Ebn El Aas Mosque (the first mosque in Egypt).
The WSB report also states that “millions more dollars have been sent to places like Cyprus.” USAID did spend about $5 million to preserve the Hala Sultan Tekke mosque in Cyrus, but that amount covered the initial phase of a renovation project which also included the Greek Orthodox Monastery of Apostolos Andreas and was completed back in 2002:

Just to note at the beginning, I am considered to be UCPI. I think some of the main problems lie toward many of the remarks that Donald Trump has made in regards to Mexicans in general. I am a son of Mexican parents who came legally. I live in Southern California and cross the border monthly. I have actually had the opportunity to speak to some of the people whom Trump calls “rapists, theives, etc”. In reality, I certainly cannot disagree with the fact that there are those who come are not “good” people. But they should not be generalized as the majority. I have spoken to individuals who made a a journey to cross in hopes of obtaining a better life, and a better job for their families. They are not all drug dealers, robbers, rapists. They are hard working humans just as you and I are. I certainly feel the media has placed a negative image on these people, which in turn has caused the negative light to be shed towards the people whom I love. I have been called a person who comes from a drug infested country. When in reality, I am American. I was born in Los Angeles. America has a huge drug problem, and much of it is an internal issue that needs to be dealt with internally.
Is a border needed? Absolutely. Our country needs to be secure. Secure from those who want to cause harm. And just so you know, since most of the people posting have probably never even been to the border in their entire lives, there is no wall right now. There is a secure fence. 24 surveillance by Border Patrol Agents. But when Trump said that Mexico will pay for the border, it made it seem like almost a joke. When Trump went and met with Mexican president Enrique Pena Nieto recently, there was hardly a discussion regarding this issue, in spite of all the talk Trump has been having over the past year. Even with a wall put in place, the immigration flow may decrease, but I highly doubt that it will forever be eliminated. According to the US census Bureau, there are about 55 million latinos in the US. It is projected by 2060, there will be 119 million. It makes it seem that this is not a security issue, but rather America makes it a racial issue.
You mentioned that this issue is not happening up North with Canada. Of course it isn’t. Canada is a country that is more developed. Countries that are more developed wont have such a need or desire to want to move.
I am not against Trump. I actually preferred him over Hilary. I simply feel that much of what he said, has fueled racial tension and hate in the country. The country of which millions are trying to come to (NOT just Mexicans. But Haitians, Middle Eastern, Asian, European, Central & South American).
I never post links, but I feel this documentary sheds a lot of light on what this has been doing recently, it has been fueling HATE. Something our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ would probably not find worthwhile. To all who read my post, I urge you, to PLEASE view this documentary by Jorge Ramos.

I have no problem with building a wall. I am just not sure how effective it would be. If most illegals are people overstaying their visas, wouldn’t we be better off to utilize our monetary resources to fix this problem first? It seems we could fix our visa problem much easier and cheaper than building a wall. I am personally not convinced the push to “build a wall” is anything more than political rhetoric and shouldn’t be a first-line consideration in the quest against illegal immigration.

As for how much it will affect it, you have claimed that more illegals are here by overstaying visas than there are those who cross our border illegally. That may be true, but it wouldn’t change my point a bit. I am interested, however, what your source is for this.

Hi Jay. I have not followed every statement that Trump has made on this, but I would have to assume he is generalizing. Surely he doesn’t believe that every illegal immigrant is a criminal (other than the crime of entering our country illegally, of course). I would think he is simply trying to emphasize that these illegal immigrants are not all just poor people looking for a better opportunity, which is how the liberals want to paint the entire group. Both portrayals are wrong strictly speaking. It’s a mix of both, with the good probably outweighing the bad. But the issue of immigration is more than just about the crime they may or may not bring with them. It’s also about the rule of law, resources, the labor market, and the economy.
I don’t see how talk of building a fence and stopping illegal immigration fuels hatred. There is anger regarding the issue, however, and rightly so. We should be angry that people are coming into our national house without asking, using our resources, and taking our jobs. But the anger should never be directed at a race of people – only those who are guilty of the wrongdoing (I am married to a Mexican woman, so I, for one, am hardly opposing all Mexicans!). And that anger should never become hatred. We can understand why people are coming here illegally and have sympathy on them, but nevertheless maintain our resolve that this should not be done. Our laws need to be enforced and we need to be able to control immigration.

Overstayers fall into three categories: persons who were issued visas; persons who have entered without visas because they came from countries that have been granted participation in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP); and persons who entered from Canada or Mexico with Border Crossing Cards (BCCs).
Statistics compiled by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) registered in FY-2011 more than 34.7 million admissions of persons with visas.
The DHS FY-2011 data registered more than 18.3 million admissions for travelers in the VWP.
The largest share of all nonimmigrant annual admissions is by cross-border visitors from Mexico and Canada. They enter for very short periods limited to short distances from the border for example to shop or for professional consultations. They amounted to more than 105 million admissions in FY-2011. If persons with BCCs intend to travel farther inland or for longer periods or for purposes other than pleasure or business, they are required to obtain visas.
BCCs are machine-readable and bear the photo and fingerprint of the visitor, but the cards are not generally machine read either for entry or for exiting the country, and, therefore, do not collect data that might reveal abuse of the entry permit.
Calculating the annual influx of “legal” immigrants on Visas, VWP and BCC’s just for the FY 2011 is staggering at 158 million and the USA government has no adequate ways of tracking, in and out, returns or overstayers.

Trump signs order to bar some refugees; signals prioritizing Syrian Christians January 27, 2017 President Donald Trump on Friday signed an executive order that will limit immigration and refugees from some Muslim-majority countries and he separately said he wanted the United States to give priority to Syrian Christians fleeing the civil war there.
Trump had promised the measures, called “extreme vetting,” during last year’s election campaign, saying they would prevent militants from entering the United States from abroad. But civil rights groups have condemned the order as harmful and discriminatory.
The details of the order were not immediately available but were expected to be released by the White House on Friday night.
Republican Representative Michael McCaul, the House Homeland Security Committee chairman, said on CNN that Trump’s order would include a 30-day suspension of visa applications from seven countries designated as “high-threat areas” and a suspension of the refugee program.
“I’m establishing new vetting measures to keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the United States of America. Don’t want them here,” Trump said at the Pentagon.
“We only want to admit those into our country who will support our country and love deeply our people,” he said.
The move was immediately condemned by Democrats, civil rights groups and aid groups such as Oxfam and others, even before full details emerged.
“‘Extreme vetting’ is just a euphemism for discriminating against Muslims,” American Civil Liberties Union Executive Director Anthony Romero said in a statement.
“Identifying specific countries with Muslim majorities and carving out exceptions for minority religions flies in the face of the constitutional principle that bans the government from either favoring or discriminating against particular religions,” Romero said.
Separately, Trump said that Syrian Christians will be given priority when it comes to applying for refugee status, a policy that would likely be challenged on similar grounds.
“If you were a Muslim you could come in, but if you were a Christian, it was almost impossible and the reason that was so unfair, everybody was persecuted in all fairness, but they were chopping off the heads of everybody but more so the Christians,” Trump said in an excerpt of an interview with the Christian Broadcasting Network, discussing the Syrian refugees.
Statistics provided by the Pew Research Center last October do not support Trump’s argument. Pew research found that 38,901 Muslim refugees entered the United States in fiscal year 2016 from all countries, almost the same number, 37,521, as Christian refugees.
Stephen Legomsky, a former Chief Counsel at U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services in the Obama administration, said prioritizing Christians could be unconstitutional.
“If they are thinking about an exception for Christians, in almost any other legal context discriminating in favor of one religion and against another religion could violate the constitution,” he said.
But Peter Spiro, a professor at Temple University Beasley School of Law, said Trump’s move would likely be constitutional because the president and Congress are allowed considerable deference when it comes to asylum decisions.
“It’s a completely plausible prioritization, to the extent this group is actually being persecuted,” Spiro said.

A federal judge has sided with the ACLU, preventing individuals from majority Muslim countries who arrive at U.S. airports from being deported as a result of Donald Trump’s executive order.
Trump’s order banned all citizens of Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria and Yemen from entering the country. The suit was filed by the ACLU on behalf of several individuals from banned countries detained at U.S. airports after Trump issued the order Friday night.
The temporary restraining order will prevent citizens of these countries currently being held at U.S. airports from being deported. The ACLU said the order would impact about “100 to 200 people detained at U.S. airports or in transit.”
Judge Ann Donnelly did not make a final ruling on the constitutionality of the executive order. Further proceedings will be held that month….

A trusted old friend sent me a petition intended for the eyes of President Trump if 100,000 signatures can be gathered by Feb. 20th.
It asks the U.S. Government to issue an international arrest warrant for George Soros.
It caught my attention right away. How many negative stories over the past year have had George Soros funding attached to it? Plenty.
So it had crossed my mind, why hasn’t President Trump declared him public enemy #1 and do something about it?
On what charge would he be arrested? How about something along the lines of sedition? What’s that? According to Title 18 of the U.S. Code:
“If two or more persons in any State … conspire to destroy by force the Government of the United States … or to oppose by force the authority thereof, or by force to prevent, hinder, or delay the execution of any law of the United States …
“… they shall each be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than twenty years, or both.”
That certainly fits Soros’ role in the funding of Black Lives Matter or other violence-prone groups.

Following the decision of the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco, which overturned President Trump’s temporary travel ban for immigrants from 7 Middle East and African nations with significant terror ties, the first week of wide-open immigration shows a huge surge in immigrants from the very nations President Trump was warning about.
According to the most updated numbers from the State Department, from Feb. 3 through 11, 72% of all refugees came from Syria, Iraq, Somalia, Iran, and Sudan – 5 of the 7 counties.
According to the Washington Times the immigrant push seems to be caused by our own State Department trying to admit as many people as possible before another court hears the case.
It’s clear that heads should be rolling at the State Dept. soon.

Of course and that is exactly what was expected BUT THEY WER NOT REFUGEES. WHY?
Well if you had an ounce of common sense you would know that these were not refugees but legal entrants who did not did not want to be trapped in a plane or limbo like their comrades were who themselves were also legal permanent residents, had Green Cards and Visas like students attending higher learning schools all of which were already scrutinized and well vetted over the last three years it took them to undergo the vetting.
So to lie that they were refugees is typical of Trump supporters whose Leader is a pathological liar.

3 Million Illegal Aliens Voted In Presidential Election

In breaking news, we are now receiving a report that as many as three million illegal immigrants could have voted in the 2016 presidential election.
Gregg Phillips at Jump Vote claims to have completed analysis of 180 million voter registrations and have verified that over 3 million votes were cast by illegal aliens in the November presidential election. He posted on his twitter feed that he will be getting together with True The Vote to initiate legal action.
For those of us on the right hand side of the political fence, it gives even more credence to what we all say going into an election “we don’t have to just beat the candidate, but we have to beat the voter fraud as well,” and with further verification of this information, it would prove that Donald Trump not only won the Electoral College Vote, but absolutely crushed the criminal Hillary Clinton in the national popular vote count, since we know that illegal immigrants are certainly not voting for Trump.
So, let’s add this up… If there are 3 million illegal aliens voting, and 4 million dead voters, plus all the Democrats that vote multiple times in a single state or in multiple states, it would mean that there could have been more than 8 million or more fraudulent votes cast for the criminal Hillary Clinton in this election. How many states that were called for Hillary Clinton would have actually been awarded for Donald Trump? How many more Electoral College votes would Trump have won if these votes are thrown out? Plus, there are still 7 million votes outstanding, yet to be counted.
It’s more than abundantly clear that the US voting system needs a complete clean out, and hopefully this can be achieved during Trump’s first term. But, we can count on the Democrats fighting this every step of the way, calling it racist and hateful, because they know that they would lose many more elections than they win without illegal aliens, the dead, and their supporters voting multiple times.
So … what do you think? Is it finally time to demand the US election system be overhauled?
